Its not advisable to traslate because we need to respond quickly in a conversation or answer any question, also its very important to think in english when we are talking with people in their native language. The suggestions to stop tanslate are: To learn vocabulary and use it every day in your daily activities, for example when you go to study, you can put your cell phone in english, also its a good idea to see movies in english,listen to podcast and iisten to music on YouTube without translating. Other advices for think in english are: guess what people are going to say, to learn from experience,listening to others,relating the word to the meaning, to use monolingue dictionary for learn the real meaning of the words, label objects, talk to yourself in english, think of a favorite phrase and do a little thinking time each day. I think the most useful is talk to yourself because is posible to practice every day, you can also sing songs and you can say words in english in your daily activities.

In the video the woman said some tips to improve our speaking, in the video the woman said that don’t matter if your English level is basic. The tips are very simple for example:

However, some people intend to teach English only with books.
And remember when we are learning other languages the most important thing is communication rather than perfection.
